Lost your charm Toronto?

I’ve not been here long enough to know if Toronto ever had a charm, but it doesn’t seem to have one now.

I think the charm of cities is when they have something that makes them unique.
The unique thing about Toronto is that it is so multi-cultural. You can find anything you want here.
There’s Greek Town, Little Italy, Korea Town, China Town etc. But because of that, there’s nothing unique here.
There’s nothing that is distinctively Torontonian, apart from maybe the CN tower.
The architecture could be from any North American City, apart from maybe UofT that tries hard to look like it has some history.

I’m not saying I don’t like the place, I’m just saying it feels like its lacking something whilst having everything.
A strange paradox.
